You'll never find another engagement ring quite like this - even though I actually took inspiration from a ring I saw at a lecture given by another jeweler. The ring was a very unique ancient gold ring that included a tall stone and had a time worn texture that just looked so beautiful. My version is cast in palladium sterling silver, includes a towering rough ruby and a lovely worn/distressed texture which I added with some very subtle hammering. From the base of the setting to the top of the ruby is approx. 9mm high - I thought it would be way too high for my taste, but found I really loved it on my hand!
