This is hopefully the beginning of a new series, I love it so much! The ink can create such beautiful plant like silhouettes and the idea of an upside down landscape is so fun. It also captures the essence of what it is like when life is turned upside down, confusing, but still holding the possibility of intense beauty.
Like trees in a mist, some are more visible and distinct while others are fading in to the background - with the addition of a slightly strange landscape - it feels kind of dreamy, like multiple layered worlds.
- Ink, metallic gold pen, white pens
- 6" x 8"
- Mixed media heavyweight paper - Acid free, natural white
Due to the nature of the metallics - the color can shift depending on the angle.
