Normally I do the stars for known constellations in white on black, but opted for something a little different with this one and added Canis Major in black ink outside the night sky portals. I love the motion and depth captured in the elements in this piece.
*Frame not included but a frame may be added - frames are solid wood with glass.
- Ink, metallic gold paint pen, white pens
- 6" x 8"
- strathmore gray tone paper
Due to the nature of the metallics - the color can shift depending on the angle.
Grey and Gold Collection - drawings on gray paper with gold - with a mix of moons, stars, mountains, and trees.
The gold may be the moon or sun, or however you want to see it. I sometimes see it has one or the other, but sometimes I feel like it represents both. It is more important that it feels like something to you, than see it how I've titled it.
Why grey and not gray? I normally use the "a" spelling of gray, but for the title of this collection, when I thought, what to call this? I heard and saw Grey and Gold. It just felt right so that's what it is.
