Inktober 2020 - Day 8 - Teeth
My friend Sonja popped in with a suggestion for Day 8 "Teeth" at the very beginning when I posted the month full of prompts. It was one of the prompts that I thought would be hardest, but having someone else give me a suggestion created a few more boundaries that actually made it easier. I Ching 21 is Shih Ho or Gnawing and Biting Through. She shared a page from her favorite I Ching book that was helpful for creating some imagery. Under symbol it said "Thunder and Lightning" - and that was pretty straightforward to include with the hexagram.
I have no idea what I would have done otherwise, so it was extra fun to have inspiration from a friend.
*frame not included - first 2 photos show 5 x 7 print, 3rd is 6 x 8 print, other photos show the original - color may vary slightly in real life
The original was 5 x 7
- 5 x 7
- 6 x 8 (same art size as 5 x 7, but with a wider border)
Each print is hand signed by the artist.
They are printed on archival, acid free paper- 100% cotton, cold press natural (no whiteners) - it matches the paper I use for most of my original drawings. And cotton is a more sustainable, eco friendly alternative to wood pulp.
