Tools were one of the reasons I was so drawn to metalsmithing. Sometimes it is desirable to not see the tool marks, but I wanted these rings to be all about tools and the texture they can create. Each ring will be entirely unique, hammered and loved on with more than 20 different tools. They are handmade in wax and cast, so they start out similarly to my simplicity bands. Then I work them with various tools until the the look is just right on the outside. The inside is completely smooth and comfy.

The 1st photo is a 5mm and a 3mm set in 14k palladium white gold with patina. A patina has been added in the first photo to highlight the texture, however, the finish options are satin or shiny as most of the patina will wear down pretty quickly since the texture is not very deep. The 2nd photo is 14k palladium white gold and 14k yellow gold satin finish.  This texture can be created in any metal I work with, just ask!
