Inktober 2021 - Day 30 - slither
(Inspired by the style of raven from day 5 - I want to do a whole series of animals like this!) - garter snakes in western WA are basically the only snakes we have. They come in a variety of colors, but most are pretty stripe-y. My relationship to snakes has totally changed since moving out here. We have no venomous snakes! I don't even know how that is possible, but it's amazing and every time I see a snake now, my nervous system is just fine. Garter snakes seem to be pretty peaceful and sweet little creatures and I'm happy to have them all over our property.
This listing is for the print - shown in the first photo in an 8x10 size. The other photos show the original.
