Hello! I'm delighted you've found your way to my little spot in the universe through the massive amount of jewelry on the internet. If you've made it to this page, you're probably interested in a custom ring or maybe another type of jewelry.

The process of making a custom piece can vary greatly, though it generally takes up a lot of my brain space. While I can walk away from the studio and leave the physical work behind, thinking about custom pieces isn't generally something that gets shut off. It's like that program is always running in the background. Even if I'm not directly thinking about it, part of my brain is working, creating a 3d model in my head, synthesizing all the data about the design ideas and the materials so when I'm ready I can sit down and it flows out of my hands.

As I've been expanding my business I've realized I need that mental space, or I need to be compensated for it. I had considered not accepting custom orders any more, but it is something I enjoy and I don't want to stop. I decided the better alternative is to create some structure and boundaries to my custom work.

Here's what the new process will look like

Fill out the Custom Ring Design form (works for non-ring things too)

I'll email to confirm paying the custom design fee or not.

Pay the Custom Ring Design Fee 

We'll continue the consultation and I'll work up price quotes, research stones, do wax mockups or sketches or whatever the next step entails.

Most custom orders take a minimum of 6 weeks, up to 3 - 6 months depending on what is needed.
