Yoga Nidra, in short, is lying down and being guided into deep relaxation.
It is a pause and a reset.
There is nothing to do but practice letting go.

My goal is to do at least 1, if not 2-3 per week. Right now they are at rotating days and times.
This is being given on a donation basis and if gratitude is all you have to give, that is accepted as well. Donations can be made via Venmo @Beth-Cyr (preferred) or through my site here. Since I will be offering one or two a week, you are also welcome to just make a monthly donation if you plan to come regularly.
Yoga Nidra systematically helps you to relax through all layers of your being.
- The full practice of yoga nidra includes stretching, tensing and releasing all the major muscle groups (and some of the smaller ones). The helps to relax the body.
- Watching the breath
- Allowing the mind stuff to drift away
- Expanding the essence of your true nature that is beyond our body, thoughts, and breath.
- Deeply relaxing and letting go in to silence.
And like meditation, when/if you find the mind chattering, the body tensing, simply, compassionately let go again.
Like everything, it is a practice. There is no "right" way to do it.
Giving yourself a chance to pause and reset is good for you, your community/family/friends and the collective. When we practice together, this effect seems to be exponentially increased.
