I always find it silly that shooting stars aren't actually falling stars but I still think of them that way. From our perspective, that is how we see them. Regardless, it is so magical. Every August I always feel called to do a little something for the meteor shower - because I love meteorites! Of course! It is the best time to share my enthusiasm for these magical bits of space metal.
I wanted to create some special artwork for the Perseid Meteor Shower and finally finished up a piece I started at the beginning of 2025. I love this piece so much.
It has so much subtlety in addition to just seeming kind of weird, super dreamy and definitely magical.

New Notecards!
As I'm getting ready to open up my monthly snail mail/patron support subscriptions on my site, I'm expanding the cards I'm offering as well. I got 3 new designs listed recently. I love them all together, so you can purchase them as a set, or individual designs. AND - I got a new paper that is not only better than the previous paper I used, it is less expensive, so I was able to lower the price of my notecards. I love the new paper and am really excited to increase my notecard offerings. I feel like I've been waiting for years to be this excited about my notecards. Such a fun way to offer my art and hopefully inspire more mail to be sent! I do so love to get notecards in the mail. Is there anyone that doesn't like to receive actual personal mail in the mailbox?! After my mom passed away, I went looking for any cards or letters I had saved from her and was happy to have some, particularly ones with her handwriting.
I feel like with things becoming more ai driven and impersonal, I like offering up a pushback in the opposite direction - ways we can connect with each other that are real and tangible and beautiful. Maybe send a note to a loved one this month!

Rewrite Your Relationships - soon soon! I've been working on this practice and it has been incredible. I'm so excited to share it with you. This workshop/practice seems to make all my offerings make more sense. It is the combination of relationships, creative writing, art, movement and meditation. I feel like it has the potential to be the foundation for my life's work and I'm both excited and a little scared.
